FAS Technology (FASTECH) says its Ezi-STEP Plus R is an open loop stepping motor control system which is suitable for low cost applications.
According to FASTECH, the Ezi-STEP Plus R has16 axes and can be operated from a PC thru RS-486 communication. It can also be connected to Ezi-SERVO Plus R.
The system contains Motion Library (DLL) for programming under Windows 2000/XP and a position table is used for motion control by digital input and output signals of the host controller.
Users can operate the motor directly by sending the position table number, start/stop, origin search and other digital input values from a PLC. The PLC can monitor the In-Position status, origin search, move/stop, servo ready and other digital output signals from a drive. A maximum of 256 positions can be saved in flash ROM memory.
Ezi-STEP Plus R can cover NEMA 8, 11, 17, 23, 24 and 34.
