FANQUIP says The Giant, a new large under-roof cooling fan for manufacturing plants, is powered by one of its MEPS motors for low level electricity use.

According to Fanquip, The Giant features a reverse cycle operation which is appropriate for when stale or hot air needs to be removed instantly.

The company says heating costs can also be reduced by using The Giant to bring the warmer under roof air down to personnel level.

The fan is designed and built in Australia by Fanquip and can be ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted.

MEPS are energy performance requirements created by the National Appliance and Equipment Energy Efficiency Committee to promote national eco-efficiency.
