MAXON will be displaying its products at The House of Switzerland for the duration of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The House of Switzerland is run by Presence Switzerland with the aim of promoting Swiss culture, business and technology at the Olympics. It has been at every summer and winter games since 1998.
The manufacturer will showcase its products and provide examples of some of the more challenging applications they can handle.
One of the items will be a replica of the NASA Spirit Mars Rover, which uses 39 Maxon motors.
The House has been officially opened and will run until the closing of the games on 24 August 2008. It is located in the north-east Chaoyang district of Beijing.
