ORIENTAL Motor has released an addition to its range of hollow rotary actuators which complies with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards.
The DG200 has a 200mm frame size and an internal hollow diameter of 100mm. The company says the hollow allows the complexity of wiring and piping to be reduced.
The device has a repetitive position accuracy of 15 arcseconds and a total backlash of two arcminutes. It can generate up to 50Nm of torque and speeds up to 110rpm.
According to the manufacturer, the device uses an AlphaStep stepper motor and controller to allow synchronous motion to be maintained under sudden load fluctuations.
