MIDWEST Motion Products has released a gearmotor which can be powered by any 12V DC source.
The MMP-TM55-12V GP52-025 has a 54mm diameter and is 183mm long. Its keyed output shaft has a 12mm diameter and is 25mm long.
The company says the device can achieve speeds of 185rpm, a continuous torque of 2.8Nm and a peak torque of 24Nm.
According to the manufacturer, the unit is protected from harsh environments with an IP-54 rated enclosure.
